Razdan Top Receives Season’s First Snowfall during late last night while plains were lashed by intermittent rains bringing down the temperatures sharply.
Razdan Top of Gurez valley in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district received the season’s first snowfall during the intervening night of sunday-monday, even as weather remained overcast across the region.
Razdan Pass, which is the gate way to this mountainous valley, has also received the season’s first snowfal late last night, officials said.
He added that the upper reaches of Gurez Valley including Chrownan area received snowfall while the plains of Gurez also received light snowfall and rains.
Sources told that the Razdan Top, located at an elevation of near 12000ft, has received at least 2 inches of snow snow since late last night .
