Jammu, 10th January 2023: The Directorate of Samagra Shiksha, Jammu & Kashmir, has issued a notification (No: 01 of 2023) inviting online applications for the recruitment of Special Educators on a contractual basis under the PM Shri Scheme.

Jobs Available

• Born after 01.01.2005 (Maximum age limit: 40 years)
• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects
• B.Ed. Spl. Ed. or its equivalent from an RCI-recognized Institute
• Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir
• Pay per Month (Consolidated): Rs. 25,000/-

Selection Criteria:
Selection will be based on a point system:

• Bachelor’s Degree: 25 points
• B.Ed. Sp. Ed. or equivalent: 50 points
• Post Graduation Degree: 10 points
• Additional Relevant Higher Qualification (Special Education): 15 points
• PG Diploma in Sp. Ed.: 5 points
• M.Ed. Sp. Ed.: 10 points
• Ph.D. Sp. Ed.: 15 points

Criteria

• If two or more candidates score the same points, preference will be given based on higher marks percentage in B.Ed. Sp. Ed.
• If the tie persists, it will be resolved based on UG marks.
• If a tie still exists, a higher age of the applicant will be considered.
