Selection Criteria for Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers):

• Female candidates aged 18-37 as of 01-01-2023 are eligible.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
• Residency in the electoral ward hosting the AWC is required.
• Minimum qualification is 10+2, with a maximum of graduation. If no 10+2 pass candidates are available in the ward, adjacent ward candidates will be considered.
• If no suitable candidates are found in the adjacent ward, candidates from the nearest ward within the Panchayat may be considered.

Selection Criteria for Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers):

• Female candidates aged 18-37 as of 01-01-2023 are eligible.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
• Minimum qualification is Matriculation.
