Bisma Ashraf : Pattan’s Young Writer Unveils Debut Poetry Book “The Picture of Many Feelings”

Baramulla, 03 Feb : A 20-year-old burgeon writer from a prominent local family, bisma ashraf has penned her first poetry book titled “The Picture of Many Feelings.”

Twenty year old, Sprout writer Bisma Ashraf is from a remote village Wanigam Pattan, environed by the dense apple orchards and paddy fields, village in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

“Commencing her academic journey from Public High School English Medium Wanigam, Bisma navigated through higher education, culminating a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University. Yet, her path took an captivating twist , leading her into the realm of writing. Transitioning from scientific foundations to the artistry of words, Bisma’s transformative journey is a testament to her diverse and remarkable path of self-discovery.”

In a forthright talk with the Kashmir Publication Correspondent, Bisma said the debut Poetry collection talks about human emotions, rich tapestry of Kashmiri culture, self-love, bondings, and the relationship with the father. “The language used in the book is lucid,” she adds.

Bisma further said that the book is a collection of 60 poem’s, the collection of soulful poetry and feelings which gives a soothing touch to all unrested minds, which i completed in 25 days.

Venturing beyond the realms of science, Bisma has unearthed her creative voice, passionately expressing herself as a writer. Her astute observations of the surrounding world metamorphose into the enchantment of her prose, weaving a tapestry of thoughts and inspiration through her words. Her writing mirrors a deep comprehension of the world and a fervent aspiration to impart a positive influence.

Bisma says, I started writing when solitude filled my room, realizing that paper possesses more patience than people, becoming my confidant in the absence of a friend to share everything with in idle moments.

Bisma Expressing emotions through written words is the labor of transforming inner struggles into sentences and the liberation felt as burdens are transferred from heart to page.

In the Authoress’s poignant narrative, the enduring strength of a mother’s love is beautifully portrayed, resilient despite life’s challenges.

The debutant poetess further consolidated that she has been immersed in writing and art since childhood, showing a fondness for singing and finding solace in travel. She set sail toward visual art at a young age and has since evolved into a reputable artist.
