Good Step: Govt Orders For 60-day Special Leave For Women In Case Baby Dies At Birth

New Delhi, September 2: GOI issued an order saying that all women central government employees will be entitled for 60 days special maternity leave in case of death of a child at or shortly after birth.

The decision has been taken keeping in view the potential emotional trauma caused due to stillbirth or death of a child soon after birth, which has a far-reaching impact on the mother’s life.
