List of 6282 Schools with Pre-Primary Section for Support at Pre-Primary Level (New) 2023-24

In pursuance to the Approval accorded by the Administrative Department, School Education, J&K vide communication No. Edu- PSOCSS/75/2021-01-SED (97253) dated: 04.01.2023, following guidelines are issued for the engagement/hiring of Helpers/AAYAS, under Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), in various Schools of the Union Territory of the Jammu and Kashmir:

NATURE OF DEPLOYMENT

The deployment of a Helper/AAYA shall be
purely terminus and shall start from the
date, they are engaged/hired and shall
conclude with the end of academic
session. It may be extendable, subject to
the performance and the approval of
funds, from the Ministry of Education,
Government of India, in the particular
component. Affidavit from 1st Class
Magistrate shall be taken from the
candidate at the time of Joining, for not
claiming for permanent absorption at any
stage.
All decisions of the funding agency
(Samagra Shiksha, J&K under the aegis of
School Education Department) shall be
implemented in this regard.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF
HELPER/AAYA Jammu and Kashmir

i) Only Female candidates may be deployed.
ii) The helper deployed must be a domicile of the Village in case of Rural Area and Ward in case of Urban area, where approved School is located.
iii) Candidate must be belonging to BPL (Below Poverty Line) category.
iv) The candidate must be
physically/mentally fit to carry-out her Job.

QUALIFICATION/PREFERENCE
for Helper / AAYA Jobs in
Jammu and Kashmir

Minimum Qualification of a Helper/AAYA:
8th Class Passed, In case there is no eligible candidate available in
Village/Ward, the candidate with lesser qualification shall be considered.

• Preference shall be given to candidates from BPL Category in the below mentioned Order of Priority:

Divorced
Widow
Any candidate among the poorest of the
poor in the Village/Ward.

The age of a candidate must be between 18-45 years as on 1st of January of the deployment year.
E. Honorarium: Rs. 5000 (Five Thousand only) Per Month, which may vary as per the approval in the subsequent year in PAB of Samagra Shiksha.
